Umphrey’s McGee kicked off a highly anticipated three night run in Asheville, NC last night, performing alongsifde Greensky Bluegrass to open things up at the ExploreAsheville.com Arena. The show was marked by great playing from both bands, including some collaborations between each band to get the run started on the right foot.Greensky Bluegrass played first, treating fans to their energetic take on the Americana genre. They opened up with “Windshield,” a fan favorite, before diving into a jammed out take on “Living Over.” The band even welcomed out UM keyboardist Joel Cummins during “In Control,” and would close out the set with the Bruce Springsteen classic, “Atlantic City.”Umphrey’s McGee followed, leaving it all on the table for a great opening night performance. The band opened with a “Bathing Digits” > “Rocker part 2” combination, before jamming out classics like “Nothing Too Fancy” > “Spires” > “Upward.” They kept it flowing through the first set, ending the seven song offering with “Atmosfarag” and “Der Bluten Kat.”The second set immediately got going with “40’s Theme,” before a big “Resolution” -> “Phil’s Farm” set the stage for one of the show’s highlight moments. After busting out Black Sabbath’s titular hit, “Black Sabbath,” Umphrey’s called on Anders Beck and Paul Hoffman from Greensky Bluegrass to join in for a take on the classic Sabbath tune, “War Pigs.” With Hoffman leading on vocals and Beck shredding on dobro, this was a great display of musicianship from both groups.Check out the video below, courtesy of Gregory Marcus on YouTube.Umphrey’s would close out the set with “2×2” and “Nothing Too Fancy,” before closing out the night with an encore of “Bad Friday.” The two bands will continue their arena run tomorrow night, before Umphrey’s closes things out with a Sunday show at The Orange Peel.Full audio from Umphrey’s show can be streamed below, courtesy of taper NSL.Check out both bands’ setlists below, as well as a full gallery from Phierce Photo.Setlist: Greensky Bluegrass | ExploreAsheville.com Arena | Asheville, NC | 2/17/17Set: Windshield, Living Over > Jam > Living Over, Letter to Seymour, In Control*, Can’t Stop Now^, Wings for Wheels, Miss September, Worried About The Weather > Jam > Atlantic City* = w/ Joel Cummins^ = “Shout” tease[Setlist via Camp Greensky]Setlist: Umphrey’s McGee | ExploreAsheville.com Arena | Asheville, NC | 2/17/17Set 1: Bathing Digits > Rocker Part 2, Nothing Too Fancy > Spires > Upward, Atmosfarag > Der Bluten KatSet 2: 40’s Theme, Resolution -> Phil’s Farm, Black Sabbath > War Pigs, 2×2 > Nothing Too FancyEncore: Bad Friday with Stranglehold (Ted Nugent) teases with Anders Beck on dobro and Paul Hoffman on vocals with Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’ (Michael Jackson) jam[Setlist via All Things Umphrey’s] Load remaining images

Advertisement Liverpool are closing in on the Premier League title (Picture: Getty)I would love to say let’s go for a surprise in this one, but they are so close to winning the title they will be desperate to get the job done, they will want to put pressure on City who play the following day, knowing that if they slip up then Liverpool will have their title. They will want to put their derby draw behind them and win this one, Klopp will prepare them well and he’ll want them to wrap it up as soon as possible, the last thing he will want is any doubt creeping in the players minds. Crystal Palace have had a great season, and they may prove me wrong, but I think Liverpool will get their job done. Prediction: 2-1.Betfair Odds: Liverpool 2/7, Crystal Palace 14/1, Draw 11/2 Burnley vs WatfordWatford are another side in trouble and this could be a big chance for them to create a bit of a gap is Spurs beat West Ham. I know there are a few contract issues for Burnley and that is a massive problem in my opinion, if these things aren’t resolved for when they play next then it’s going to be another struggle with a limited squad of players. Burnley will be happy with where they are in the table and it is a case for them to see out the season now, so I think Watford will get something in their trip up North. Prediction: 0-1.AdvertisementAdvertisementBetfair Odds: Burnley 11/5, Watford 13/8, Draw 9/4 Southampton vs Arsenal Advertisement Dimitar BerbatovTuesday 23 Jun 2020 10:30 pmShare this article via facebookShare this article via twitterShare this article via messengerShare this with Share this article via emailShare this article via flipboardCopy link2kShares David de Gea is back in the spotlight after another high profile error (Picture: Getty)Sheffield Untied had a bad result against Newcastle, but they were down to ten men and that made things very difficult. United need to the points and they have to win this game to keep top four hopes alive. Sheffield will make it really difficult against them, they don’t give a dam who they play and they just play the football they know how to play, I have said it before but they are the surprise of the season for me. Despite that, United will be desperate to get the three points, and I think they will just edge it. Prediction: 2-1.AdvertisementAdvertisementADVERTISEMENTBetfair Odds: Man Utd 8/15, Sheff Utd- 8/1, Draw- 7/2 Newcastle vs Aston VillaAston Villa are another team in trouble, they do have some good players but sometimes that doesn’t help much. Newcastle surprised me last time out with some good football. Villa are really fighting for their lives and I think they will take the points against Newcastle, who are safe, I can see them underestimating Villa in this one. Prediction: 0-1.Betfair Odds: Newcastle 6/4, Aston Villa 9/4, Draw 5/2 Norwich vs EvertonIt’s not looking good for Norwich and I can’t see them pulling off a miracle. Everton will want to continue proving that they have a good squad and that they should be taken seriously, they have a great manager as well now. I liked the way Everton played against Liverpool and I think they will go one step further in this one and take all three points. Prediction: 1-3.Betfair Odds: Norwich 10/3, Everton- EVS, Draw 11/4 Wolves vs BournemouthWolves are the other team surprising me, they are performing really well, they are going under the radar and they have a great chance to get a top four spot. Everybody’s concentrating on the big names like United, Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal, but Wolves haven’t been given the credit for the season they are having. I think they will be pushing and they will believe that they can surprise a lot of people. I like watching them play and I think they will beat Bournemouth. Prediction: 2-0.Betfair Odds: Wolves 8/13, Bournemouth 11/2, Draw 16/5Liverpool vs Crystal Palace It’s going from bad to worse for Arsenal and Mikel Arteta (Picture: Getty)It is the same problem every time for Arsenal, how many mistakes to they have to make before they learn? Serious questions will be asked if they lose three in a row. I liked Arteta as a player and I’d like to see him succeed as a young manager, I want to see him have success, but sometimes the path to get there is a bit difficult. I don’t want to see them lose three in a row, saying that Danny Ings is back from the restart scoring, so this isn’t going to be an easy one for Arsenal, but they really need to finally start showing some balls and I think they just might in this one. Prediction: 1-2.Betfair odds: Southampton 9/5, Arsenal- 7/4, Draw- 5/2Chelsea vs Man CityThis is going to be a good game. Chelsea are pushing and they have a nice cushion of five points in fourth. City will want to deny Liverpool the league title for longer so they will want to do everything to win this game, it will also be a help to United if they win and will give them another opportunity to close the gap. City have looked sharp since the return, I think they can still do better. It’s a blow that Aguero picked up an injury, I love him and the way he scores goals, but I think they have a lot of quality players and they will take their chances against Chelsea.
