Burrowes, mother of the late singer, said that she is concerned about the manner and form people when about organizing several concerts without informing the family about it or seeking their approval.Madam Burrowes noted added that the family strongly condemned and warned people from using her late son’s name for their personal interest.The late pop star’s mother added: Let me make this unequivocally clear, next time, legal action will be taken against anyone caught doing so. We are not against people organizing concerts to commemorate my son’s death, but it should be done in the legal and proper way.“All we want from the organizers of these concerts is to show some respect to the family by seeking the approval to organize the concert.”Madam Burrowes made these statements five days after the family organized a memorial concert at the famous Sports Commission to raise funds for the establishment of a foundation in the late singer’s name.The late Quincy B died on March 3, 2017, in a tragic motor accident on his way from an impromptu performance at Anglers Bar and Restaurant in Monrovia.The late singer entered the music industry at the age of 19, with the single “Dream,” and went on to become the youngest artist in Liberia’s music history to become an official brand ambassador for a major telecommunications company, Lonestar Cell MTN.According to the Liberia National Police (LNP) report, Quincy B died as the result of excessive speeding and reckless driving, which resulted in his car somersaulting up to 52 feet into the air.The memorial concert, which took at the famous Sports Commission in central Monrovia, brought together hundreds of fans and artists to celebrate the late singer’s life. The concert showcased performances from the likes of veteran rapper Scientific, who brought Quincy B to prominence, as well as JB, Christoph, Ericgeso and Takun J.“We were able to raise some considerable amount in cash, and pledges which we are now using towards the establishment of the foundation.
