first_img Drew Mcintyre Live Podcast: Reviewing and discussing WWE Clash of Champions from Charlotte Videos Articles Roman Reigns is in Remission WhatsApp According to reports from Pro Wrestling Sheet, Fightful and several other media outlets, Jinder Mahal recently signed a new multi-year contract with WWE that is said to be for five-years.Mahal was signed to a WWE developmental deal in 2010 with what was then Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW).He made his WWE television debut on the April 29, 2011 episode of Smackdown.  After WWE rebranded FCW to NXT, Mahal began then making appearances on NXT.In September of 2014 Mahal was aligned with Drew McIntyre and Heath Slater, forming the heel faction 3MB. Mahal was released from his WWE contract on June 12, 2014.  Following his release, he spend two years on the independent circuit.
